POP: Parents of Preschoolers
Praise for POP
JEANNE
POP PARTICIPANT
This is awesome!!! This is just what we needed. Thank you so much. What an awesome program that we can fit into our daily lives. I love it, and I’m so grateful.
REV. SIERRA MARIE GERFAO
POP FACILITATOR
Jen elegantly packs rich material into each POP video, despite their length of a few minutes or less. She understands the heavy demands on families and finds ways to bolster parents as spiritual teachers and meet the needs of young children without creating a bunch of new work for caregivers (nor for religious educators).

About the
Curriculum
Parents of Preschoolers is a free, video-based curriculum grounded in Unitarian Universalism and designed specifically
for caregivers of kids ages 2 to 5.

Over 16 short episodes (each about three minutes long), viewers learn to understand their child's spiritual development, to build rituals that support this development, and to empower themselves as spiritual teachers.

Churches using POP often do so as part of a larger parenting support program. Groups of participants are encouraged to work through each month's videos at their own pace. Then, at the end of the month, groups gather on Zoom or in person with their own religious education or ministry staff to check in and share what they've learned.

POP videos could also be used in a more informal and self-paced way by those not currently attending a church.
